Believe it or not, there are things that go bump in the
night that have nothing to do with wraiths, poltergeists and boogey-men. One of those things is the Phantom 5182
Series which are alloy wheels that are brought to you by the minds at Pro
Comp. This is the latest hair-raising
addition to the Xtreme Alloy line of Pro Comp wheels. From the center cap that is branded to the
outer lip that is quite burly, these upgrades have been styled forcefully in
order to scare all of those factory wheels off the trails and out of your way.
The 5182 Series of alloy wheels that are made by Pro Comp
have been destined to be a legend. They
feature a design with a fearsome 8 spokes that has aggressive angles and lines
that are downright menacing. There is
milling work that is quite fine around the edges of each ones of the spokes and
this actually adds a visual punch that is quite uncanny. The unearthly appearance is rounded out by
faux bead lockers and accent bolts. The
final spin shivering touch is the finish which is an eerie matte black.
The Phantom Wheels that are made by Pro Comp are light as a
feather yet they are also stiff as a board.
They have been crafted from aluminum by using a pressure casting
technique that is unique. This casting
technique gives it savings in weight along with more strength. These wheels are available in a variety of
sizes and they are accompanied by 2 warranties.
One for the structure and one for the finish.
